Return of new and unused items will be accepted if received within 60 calendar days of the date you received your order.

Returned items must be packaged properly and received at our warehouse undamaged and in new, sellable condition. Please note that new packing material will need to be used for the return of heavy items such as batteries, electric motors, and gas engines. Re-using our packing material may not be adequate. Our packing material is designed for a one way shipment from our warehouse to the customer. Any return where the item is received broken or damaged due to poor packaging (or damaged for any other reason) will receive a reduced refund down to and including $0.00 based on the condition in which it is received.
Refunds are for the item purchase price only and will be made only to the payment method of the original order. Shipping charges are non-refundable. Return shipping is the responsibility of the customer.
Shipping Carrier Returns (Refused Delivery, Return to Sender, Bad Address, Etc.)
All items returned to us by the shipping company (UPS, Fedex, or USPS) due to customer refusal, incorrect address entered by the customer at checkout, or any other reason beyond our control will be credited for the purchase price of their item, less the cost of return shipping incurred for the item to get back to Monster Scooter Parts. In other words, the original cost of shipping is for a one way shipment, from our warehouse to the customer shipping address, only. A refused shipment has additional shipping costs on the return trip back to our warehouse.
In addition, the original shipping charge will not be refunded.
If an item is returned to us due to an incorrect address entered at the time of checkout, it will be processed as a standard customer return and the customer must place a new order if they still wish to receive the item.
Return Processing
Returns are processed in the order in which they are received and you should expect to receive your return credit as soon as your return is processed. Processing times will vary based on the volume of incoming returns and can be as long as 3 weeks from the date your return is received.
Restocking Fees
All items not covered below are subject to a 10% restocking fee when returned.
Returned Orders that Qualified for Free Shipping
Returned orders no longer qualify for free shipping. Orders that originally qualified for free shipping will have a $10 shipping fee deducted from the refund to cover the original shipping cost unless the remaining total, minus the refund, is still eligible for free shipping.
Special Order Items
Special order items are not returnable.
New Parts That Have Been Installed or Used
Under no circumstances do we accept returns of new items that have been installed or used. Check your item for compatibility prior to installation and use. Returns that include items that show evidence that they have been installed or used in any manner will be rejected and no credit will be issued. It will be the responsibility of the customer to pay for the return shipping of the used item back to the customer. Authorized returned electrical items such as mobility scooter joystick controllers and control modules may be tested for functionality before credits are issued.
Lithium Batteries
Due to special shipping and packaging regulations, all Lithium batteries of any size or capacity are non-returnable.
Sealed Lead Acid (SLA) / Absorbed Glass Matt (AGM) & Gel Batteries
All SLA/AGM/Gel batteries are non-returnable, due to special packaging and training requirements for shipping.
Gasoline Engines
Due to Federal Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations governing the transportation of hazardous material, Monster Scooter Parts will not accept the return of any gasoline-powered engine of any size or displacement that has had gasoline or other petroleum-based liquid fuel introduced into the engine, fuel tank, carburetor, fuel lines, or any other part of the engine assembly.
Motor/Transaxle Assemblies
Due to special shipping/packaging regulations, all Motor/Transaxle assemblies for mobility scooters are non-returnable. In addition, most of these units are serial number specific and are not compatible with any other models other than those listed on the product page. It is the customer's responsibility to determine if the motor/transaxle assembly is correct for their scooter. This is best done by directly contacting our customer service representatives prior to placing the order.
Electric Motor Kits
Universal controllers included with electric motor kits are subject to the 25% Return Policy as detailed above. Unused and unaltered throttles and electric motors from motor kits will be subject to the standard store restocking fee and will be credited based on the current retail price of each item at the time of return.
This provision does not apply to electric bike conversion kits, which are fully returnable and subject to our standard store return policy.
Console Assemblies, Key Switch Assemblies, & Scooter Trunks (Items with Keys Included)
Items that are provided with keys, such as console assemblies, key switch assemblies, & top case scooter trunks, must include all keys when returned. In addition, scooter trunks should not be returned with the keys locked inside the trunk. No refunds can be given for items that are returned either without the keys or the keys locked in the trunk.
Carriers & Cargo Racks
Due to size & weight issues, hitch-mounted vehicle carriers and cargo racks are non-returnable. This restriction does not apply to bicycle fender racks, baskets, panniers, top cases, or other small containers.
Ramps
All metal ramps are non-returnable. This includes folding or solid steel or aluminum vehicle ramps. This policy does not include rubber threshold ramps.
Large shrouds for mobility scooters & power chairs
Due to size & weight issues, large shrouds for mobility scooters and power chairs are non-returnable.
Items Sold "As-Is" with No Warranty
The items below are sold “as-is” without any expressed or implied warranty:
1. Special order items.
2. All seat assemblies for Invacare, Jazzy, Jet, Pride & Shoprider scooters & power chairs; including seat bases and seat backs. These seating products are special ordered and manufactured on an order-by-order basis and are not returnable. Seats for Go-Go scooters (made by Pride Mobility) and Golden Technologies scooters are excluded and are returnable. Seat base covers and seat back covers are also excluded and are returnable items.
3. Repair manuals.
4. Touch up paint.
5. Blemished items.
6. Used batteries.
7. Joystick programmers.
8. ATV fender sets
9. All gasoline engines of size 50cc and larger; including street scooter, ATV, dirt bike, and go-kart engines.
10. Toilet seats
11. Seat cushions
12. Invacare seat upholstery
13. Lithium batteries of any size
15. Motor/Transaxle assemblies for mobility scooters
16. Hitch-mounted carriers & cargo racks
17. Metal ramps
18. Large shrouds for mobility scooters & power chairs
19. Vinyl padded seats for go-karts
What are Free Returns?
When you choose the Free Returns option at checkout, any returnable items from your order can be returned with a prepaid shipping label at no cost to you. If you choose not to purchase the Free Returns service, you can still return those items, but you'll need to cover the return shipping costs. Please note that all returns, whether free or not, are subject to the terms outlined in our Return Policy, which may include applicable Restocking Fees.
