Batteries & Battery Packs

Monster Scooter Parts warrants to the original purchaser (user) that all new batteries and new battery packs shall be free from defects in material and workmanship for a period of 1 year from the date of receipt.

If Monster Scooter Parts determines the battery to be defective, we will ship the replacement(s) without charge.

All battery and battery pack warranty claims are subject to the following conditions and limitations:

Conditions and Limitations

1. The battery shall be the proper size, design, and capacity for the application. Failure to use the proper battery for the application will void any and all warranties.
2. The battery shall be handled, stored, and installed properly. Final installation shall be completed no more than two months from the date of receipt.
3. The battery shall be operated in conjunction with a current-limited, constant voltage charging system, and otherwise operated and maintained in accordance with instructions.
4. The user shall permit examination of the battery by a Monster Scooter Parts company representative by shipping the batteries back to us for warranty claim examination.
5. Only the remaining unused portion of the original battery's warranty shall apply to the replacement battery.
6. This warranty is void if the battery is subject to misuse, abuse, or visible physical damage, or if the battery becomes unusable due to fire, wreckage, flooding, freezing, or any other acts of God.
7. The above-stated warranties are in lieu of all other warranties, expressed or implied, including, without limitation, any implied warranty of merchantability or fitness. In no event shall Monster Scooter Parts be responsible for any incidental Monster Scooter Parts.com shall not be liable for any defects in, or any breach of contracts relating to the quality or performance of the above equipment under any theory of law.
8. These limited warranties apply to the original purchaser (user) and are not transferable.
9. The user shall promptly notify Monster Scooter Parts in the event of an alleged defect.

To file a warranty claim for any SLA battery or battery pack, please e-mail us at [email protected] with the following information:

Address
Order Number

We will then e-mail you an RMA number so that you may ship your item back to us for inspection.

Please note that the cost of shipping a warrantied item back to us for inspection is the responsibility of the customer. All warranties cover the cost of a replacement item and the cost of shipping that replacement item to the customer, but they do not cover the cost of shipping the original item back to Monster Scooter Parts for inspection.

If our inspection confirms that the item has failed and that none of the conditions and limitations apply, then we will promptly ship you a replacement item. If the replacement item is out of stock or back-ordered, then we will promptly ship the item to you as soon as it becomes available to us. Monster Scooter Parts is not liable for any damages resulting from a replacement warranty item being out of stock or back-ordered. If the warrantied item is temporarily or permanently unavailable, a comparable substitute item may be sent at the sole discretion of Monster Scooter Parts.

If an item is shipped back to us for warranty inspection and we determine that the item is still in good useable condition or that the warranty was voided because one of the conditions and limitations applies, then the cost of shipping the item back to the customer will be the customer's responsibility.
